The tenth anniversary

Busan, South Koreas second largest city, is not only a popular location for getaways, events, parties and awesome beaches, but also home of G-Star expo. It’s a 4-days global game exhibition held in Busan. This year for the tenth time, it took place from November 14 to 17. About 680 companies have participated in both the B2C and B2B exhibition. Kirstin was lucky enough to be one the 240.000 overall visitors.

Gaming is a must

Of course, well-known companies like Nexon, Netmarble, Epic Games, Bluehole and many more were showcasing their latest games or demos. Other than PC games, mobile and VR titles were big as well. Also, the B2C hall had its own Indie Game Pavilion and Arcade Game Zone for all game enthusiasts to play in.

Until next year!

With numerous special events and networking platforms, the G-Star continues to be the central hub for the gaming industry in Asia. We are looking forward to what next years exhibition may bring and want to thank all of our new and existing contacts we had the honor to have a chat with!

Bye bye, Busan.
