This was G-Star 2019
It started 2005 in Seoul and since 2009 takes place in Busan, South Koreas G-Star with its 240.000 visitors is – next to Gamescom, E3 and Tokyo Game Show – one of the largest shows for entertainment and gaming in the world and definitely the most important gaming exhibition in Korea.
The tenth anniversary
Busan, South Koreas second largest city, is not only a popular location for getaways, events, parties and awesome beaches, but also home of G-Star expo. It’s a 4-days global game exhibition held in Busan. This year for the tenth time, it took place from November 14 to 17. About 680 companies have participated in both the B2C and B2B exhibition. Kirstin was lucky enough to be one the 240.000 overall visitors.
Gaming is a must
Of course, well-known companies like Nexon, Netmarble, Epic Games, Bluehole and many more were showcasing their latest games or demos. Other than PC games, mobile and VR titles were big as well. Also, the B2C hall had its own Indie Game Pavilion and Arcade Game Zone for all game enthusiasts to play in.
